Photographically capturing the beauty of nature, and particularly the fall colors, is practically an effort in futility. Can a camera truly capture the expanse and majesty of a mountain range, the shimmering colors of a rainbow, the luminescence of the sunrise or sunset? Even though the answer is “no”, my photographer continues to attempt the impossible. The awesome displays of autumn are inadequately portrayed in the enclosed pictures..

After a storm, a rainbow of intense colors bends its way across the sky.
The rainbow’s colors were especially vivid.
With the arrival of autumn and cooler weather,
the sled dogs are excited about stretching their legs and training for the winter tours.
The leaves have now all fallen to the ground, and the snowflakes have started to fly.
Winter is on the way.
